There are many acupuncture points for treating headache and vertigo, such as solar plexus points, Baihui points, and Fengchi points, all of which do not exist as specialized points for treating headache and vertigo.
1. Solar plexus point: in the temporal region, between the tip of the eyebrow and the outer canthus of the eye, about one horizontal finger backward in the depression. It is used for headaches, migraines, etc.
2. Hundred Points: located on the head, 5 inches straight up from the center of the front hairline. It is used for dementia, stroke, aphasia, convulsion, insomnia, amnesia, epilepsy, hysteria, headache, vertigo, tinnitus, prolapse of anus, and yin ting (prolapse of uterus or even prolapse of vaginal opening in women).
3. Fengchi acupoint: located in the posterior region of the neck, below the occipital bone, in the depression between the upper end of the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the upper end of the trapezius muscle. It is mainly used for treating stroke, epilepsy, headache, dizziness, tinnitus, deafness, cold, nasal congestion, congested epistaxis, redness and swelling of the eyes, crookedness of the mouth and eyes, and strong pain in the neck.
It is recommended that patients go to a regular institution and have their acupoints selected and operated by a doctor to avoid adverse reactions.
