What is the difference between budesonide and ipratropium bromide

Budesonide and ipratropium bromide are two classes of drugs. The first one is budesonide, which is a glucocorticoid and is often used as an inhalation preparation in clinical practice. It is a short-acting hormone among glucocorticoids and is mainly used as an anti-inflammatory drug. In the treatment mechanism, it mainly reduces the occurrence of airway inflammation to achieve the effect of reducing airway constriction. Ipratropium bromide is an anticholinergic drug, or M-blocker for short, which is mainly used as a bronchodilator in clinical practice. Like ipratropium bromide, it is a short-acting anticholinergic drug that mainly acts on M1 and M3 receptors. It is generally used as a tracheal diastolic agent when the receptors are blocked and the trachea is relaxed. Despite this difference, in the treatment of such patients with COPD and asthma, these two drugs are usually made into a mixture for use, from two mechanisms of anti-inflammation and airway dilation, in two directions, together to bring the wheezing symptoms of asthma or COPD under control.
