What to eat for diarrhea

  There are many medications for diarrhea, such as antibiotics of the saxon class, intestinal mucosal adsorbents, flavopiridol and micro-ecological preparations to regulate intestinal flora, and different patients should choose the appropriate medication.  Commonly used antidiarrheal agents, such as montelukast, the trade name of Simethicone, is very safe and can be used by both adults and children; antibiotics commonly used are flavopiridol, cotrimoxazole, norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin, which have a significant inhibitory effect on common bacteria that cause intestinal inflammation, such as bacillary dysentery, salmonella, toxigenic Escherichia coli, Helicobacter, etc.; you can also take oral lactase or micro-ecological preparations, such as bifidobacterium triadicum capsule for treatment. For diarrhea associated with stress, often irritable bowel syndrome, oral pivetonium bromide can also be administered. Severe diarrhea should also be treated with plenty of light saline and, if necessary, oral rehydration salts.  Flavoxate or norfloxacin is recommended for adult diarrhea, and montelukast for pediatric diarrhea. Diarrhea should be prevented by paying attention to dietary hygiene and keeping the abdomen warm.
