What’s wrong with high platelets at 2 years old

High platelets in two-year-old children are usually considered to be related to physiological increase, anemia, myeloproliferative diseases and other conditions.
1. Physiological increase: it may be caused by transient high platelets after exercise, sweating or not drinking water in time, etc. If there is no other abnormal manifestation, it usually does not need to be dealt with, and attention should be paid to observation and regular rechecking.
2. Anemia: the child may have anemia, under the stimulation of the organism, the bone marrow starts to make blood, which leads to reactive proliferation of platelets and platelet elevation.
3. Myeloproliferative diseases: if caused by myeloproliferative diseases, the bone marrow hematopoietic stem cell dysfunction, usually there will be a significant increase in platelets, such as primary thrombocythemia.
If there is a two-year-old child platelet significantly higher, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to find out the cause of the disease, targeted treatment, to avoid delaying the condition, resulting in other damage.
