Does it matter if your child’s body temperature is normal even though he is obviously hot?

If a child has a fever but a normal body temperature, it is usually not a big problem and damage to the thermometer and errors should be excluded. If there is no such effect, the thermometer measurement results should prevail, because there are individual differences in manual touch, then it should not be used as a clinical reference. The normal human axillary temperature is 36℃-37℃, but children are different from adults, because their height and weight are smaller, and their circumferential circulation time is shorter, so their heart rate and respiration are faster than adults, and their basal metabolic rate is higher, so their body temperature will be relatively higher. Therefore, the normal body temperature of children is mostly between 36.5℃-37.5℃, especially in summer, after the afternoon or after the activity will be appropriate to increase the body temperature, at this time, adults may feel hot when touched by hand. In addition, the body temperature of children is normal, but the hot body is also related to the imperfect development of their sweat glands, because the sweating function is poor, can not effectively eliminate body heat, coupled with the superficial capillaries of children, so the temperature will also be slightly higher than that of adults. If a child has a runny nose, diarrhea or other symptoms, he or she should be admitted to the hospital and take medication as prescribed by the doctor to avoid a rise in body temperature. Daily ventilation can be appropriate, drink more water, usually pay attention to keep clean, dry, so as not to induce prickly heat, eczema and other diseases.
