New Pneumonia Fever Clinic Conditions

During the epidemic of novel coronavirus pneumonia, if you have a fever of 37.3°C or above, you are required to go to the fever clinic for screening. If the body temperature is usually low, screening is not particularly recommended even at 37°C. Under normal circumstances, if the body temperature is not high enough, even if you go to the fever clinic, you may be advised to go to the general outpatient clinic for routine treatment. The burden of care in fever clinics during epidemics is very high, and in the fever clinic setting, there may be exposure to suspected patients, leading to an increased incidence of infection. Patients are advised to observe at home for a period of time, and a temperature of 37°C or below is considered normal. In women, the temperature may reach 37.1℃-37.2℃ during physiologic period, and further observation is needed. If the temperature fluctuates significantly or exceeds 37.3℃, it is necessary to go to the fever clinic. Source: Dr. Yurai
