Upright vertigo may be due to vasovagal reflex, low blood pressure and vestibular dysfunction. 1. Vasovagal reflex: Vasovagal reflex, after standing upright, due to reduced blood circulation. Vasovagal reflex occurs, blood vessels dilate, blood flow accumulates in the lower limbs and peripheral vessels, and cerebral ischemia and hypoxia lead to dizziness symptoms caused by the vasovagal reflex. 2. Low blood pressure: Due to low blood pressure, some patients suffer from autonomic nerve damage, resulting in a significant drop in blood pressure after standing, cerebral ischemia, postural hypotension, which manifests itself as dizziness symptoms. 3. Vestibular dysfunction: It may be related to vestibular dysfunction caused by postural change. Otolithiasis, vestibular neuronitis and Meniere’s syndrome can also cause upright dizziness. When patients experience upright dizziness, if they do not wake up for a long time or have unexplained dizziness, it is recommended that they go to the hospital in time.
