Functional exercise after knee osteoarthritis surgery

  1, practice calf: the first day to 4 weeks after surgery, every day with maximum force hook foot, maximum force downward tense foot, 500 times a day. (Very important, prevent blood clots!!!)  2.Practice thighs: from the 1st day to 4 weeks after surgery, straighten your legs and lift them off the bed every day (insist on 5 seconds), then relax (2 seconds), 600 times a day.  3.Straighten the knee joint: 1 day to 4 weeks after surgery, put a pillow under the ankle joint, make sure the knee joint is as straight as the other leg.  4. Flexion of the knee joint: 7 days after surgery, practice to 90 degrees. The angle of practice should be gradually increased, up to three times a day. After each practice, use an ice water mixture in a plastic bag and apply a cold compress to the knee joint for 20 minutes. About 1 month after surgery, the knee is flexed to basic normal.  5, the first 2 months, has been practicing thigh and practice calf. Additional exercises:squatting horse stance (quadriceps functional exercise: refer to my website article “Knee health care treatment — quadriceps functional exercise method! Practical!”) After 1 month, you can walk normally.  After 6 or 2 months, gradually start walking, and then slowly sports.
