The full name of Dapoxetine is Dapoxetine Hydrochloride Tablets and its main effect is to treat premature ejaculation and poor ejaculatory control. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, and fatigue. Dapoxetine Hydrochloride Tablets are used for men aged 18 to 64 years with premature ejaculation who experience the following symptoms: persistent or recurrent ejaculation due to minimal sexual stimulation before, during, shortly after, or before sexual gratification of penile insertion into the vagina; significant personal distress or interpersonal dysfunction due to premature ejaculation; and poor ejaculatory control. Current research suggests that the mechanism of action of dapoxetine hydrochloride tablets for the treatment of premature ejaculation may be related to its inhibition of neuronal reuptake of 5-hydroxytryptamine, which affects the potential difference of neurotransmitters acting on cellular pre and post-synaptic receptors, thus improving the central nervous control of ejaculation. In addition, it is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to this drug, in patients with significant pathology of the heart, in patients with moderate-to-severe hepatic injury, and not together with strong cytochrome P450 3A4 inhibitors. This drug is prohibited for use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors or thioridazine, cannot be used within 14 days of monoamine oxidase inhibitor or thioridazine administration, and similarly, monoamine oxidase inhibitors or thioridazine cannot be used for 7 days after discontinuation of this drug. If you need to use Dapoxetine Hydrochloride Tablets, it is recommended that you consult your doctor and take them appropriately as prescribed by your doctor.
