Can’t you cure triple-negative breast cancer, no matter what stage it’s in?

There is no such thing as “no matter how many stages, it cannot be cured”. If the disease is detected at an early stage and treated in a standardized manner, the chance of cure will be higher. If the disease is detected late and not treated in time after diagnosis, the chance of cure will be lower. For malignant tumors, cure is defined as no recurrence of metastasis within 5 years. Although the degree of malignancy of triple-negative breast cancer is relatively high, if it is detected in time and the disease is in stage 1 or 2, the 5-year cure rate will be higher. If it is found late, the progression of the disease can be controlled through standardized treatment, and the chance of cure will be lower. Stage 1 breast cancer has a higher 5-year survival rate after surgical resection, while stage 2 breast cancer has a higher 5-year survival rate after surgical resection of the tumor cells and comprehensive treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. For triple-negative breast cancer, the risk of recurrence and metastasis in the later stages will be significantly reduced. It is recommended that patients with triple-negative breast cancer should go to regular hospitals in time and receive treatment as prescribed by the doctor to improve the survival rate.
