What causes chest pain in the center

Pain in the middle of the chest is mainly considered to be due to trauma, cardiac disease, mediastinal disease and esophageal disease.
1. Trauma: The middle of the chest is the sternal stalk, which is usually hard. However, if you suffer from serious trauma or severe impact, pain in the middle of the chest can occur.
2. Heart disease: coronary artery disease leads to insufficient blood supply to the coronary artery, and myocardial ischemia can easily lead to angina pectoris, resulting in bouts of colic in the chest.
3. Mediastinal diseases: mediastinal tumor and mediastinal emphysema can lead to local compression and pain in the middle of chest.
4. Esophageal diseases: esophageal tumors, reflux esophagitis, and esophageal irritation can cause pain in the surface area, i.e., the middle of the chest, in the corresponding area.
There may be other reasons for the pain in the middle of the chest, so it is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible for a clear diagnosis.
