Allergies in children are allergic diseases with a wide variety of symptoms and varying degrees of severity. The clinical manifestations of symptoms and the severity of symptoms depend mainly on the allergen and the child’s allergic site. The most common manifestations of allergy are mainly reflected in respiratory symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms and skin symptoms. 1. Respiratory symptoms: allergic rhinitis (congestion and redness of the nasal mucosa, recurrent runny nose, nasal congestion, frequent nose rubbing); adenoid hypertrophy (frequent snoring); frequent colds; allergic cough (prolonged dry cough); asthma (acute wheezing). 2. Gastrointestinal symptoms: crying after drinking milk, refusal of milk, decreased milk consumption, reflux, frequent longer vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, blood in stool, abdominal pain and restlessness, irritability, etc. 3. Skin symptoms: atopic rash, eczema (facial eczema, perioral eczema), urticaria, swelling of the mouth and lips, allergic purpura, frequent dry itching and scratching of the whole body. 4. Allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, periocular inflammation (regular eye rubbing, dry eyes). When children have the above allergy symptoms, they need to be actively consulted in hospital, find the allergens, take oral anti-allergy drugs to deal with them, and avoid allergens.
