Itchy corners of the eyes can be caused by eye contact with allergens or lesions of the eye itself. It is commonly seen in eye diseases such as canthal blepharitis, immune conjunctivitis, viral blepharitis, contact dermatitis, dry eye, and entropion, and can be caused by foreign body irritation, contact lens wear, and drug stimulation. In addition, eye itch is associated with environmental allergen exposure, lack of attention to eye hygiene, visual fatigue, and excessive eye use.
