Tralex is the trade name of the drug known as Oxcarbazepine tablets, an antiepileptic drug. Oxcarbazepine is used for the treatment of generalized tonic-convulsive seizures and partial seizures in primary epilepsy, with or without secondary seizures, among others. It is used to stabilize overexcited neuronal cell membranes, inhibit neuronal redischarge, reduce the propagation of synaptic impulses, and control seizures. Some patients may experience side effects such as dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, and drowsiness after taking this drug. It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the product and in patients with atrioventricular block. Oxcarbazepine needs to be used according to the condition under the guidance of a doctor’s interview, and avoid using the drug blindly without authorization to avoid adverse consequences.
