The fastest and most effective treatment for cerebral infarction is drug treatment and surgery.
1. Drug treatment
(1) Intravenous thrombolytic therapy: the golden time of intravenous thrombolytic therapy for acute cerebral infarction is within 6 hours, if there is indication for intravenous thrombolytic therapy after the onset of the disease, and there is no absolute contraindication, it is feasible to use alteplase thrombolytic therapy.
(2) Conventional drug therapy: patients who are not suitable for thrombolytic therapy or interventional surgery should take oral aspirin and other antiplatelet aggregation, atorvastatin and other plaque stabilizing drugs; at the same time, they can also be given butylphthalide to improve the circulation, edaravone to remove free radicals and other drug therapy.
2. Surgical treatment: after the onset of cerebral infarction, if carotid and intracranial artery stenosis is found, carotid endarterectomy, angioplasty and stent implantation can be carried out; if the large blood vessel is occluded, arterial thrombus extraction is feasible; for malignant cerebral infarction that causes intracranial pressure to rise and the brain stem to be compressed, the treatment of debridement can be chosen.
