Treatment of cardiac arrhythmia avoid “long-standing disease into a doctor” is not advisable

Arrhythmias are very common diseases, including arrhythmias, tachycardia, bradycardia, premature beats, atrial fibrillation, conduction block and other types, and its occurrence is closely related to various pathologies such as myocardial cell autoregulation, cardiac autonomic function, myocardial cell metabolism and myocardial blood supply. Because of the many types of arrhythmias and complex pathology, the treatment of arrhythmias is also a long-term, complex process that must be carried out under the guidance of a physician. In daily life, there are many arrhythmia patients who have been “sick for a long time” and are reluctant to go to the hospital when there are common symptoms of arrhythmia such as panic, shortness of breath, chest tightness, etc. Instead, they use drugs based on their own experience alone, and some keep the prescriptions issued by doctors in the past for a long time and use them repeatedly, not knowing that most of the antiarrhythmic drugs in the clinic nowadays are used to treat the arrhythmia by directly affecting the myocardial cells. The majority of anti-arrhythmic drugs in clinical practice are used to treat cardiac arrhythmias by directly affecting the autoregulation, excitability and conduction of cardiac muscle cells, and if they are not applied properly, they may even induce or aggravate arrhythmias. Therefore, patients with arrhythmia can only choose the right treatment drugs to ensure the effectiveness of treatment, do not “become a doctor for a long time”, self-medication.
