Can babies get vaccinations for diarrhea?

Usually, vaccinations are not recommended for babies with diarrhea to avoid adverse vaccination reactions. Vaccine is a low-toxicity biological product of virus or bacteria type, and during the vaccination process, the child can resist such germs through its own immunity, thus stimulating its immune ability. However, if a child is in a state of diarrhea, when his or her gastrointestinal function is disturbed, his or her immunity is low, and he or she is more unwell, the vaccination may lead to aggravation of diarrhea, symptoms such as high fever that does not go away, and even induce other serious diseases. Especially for polio vaccine, diarrhea is an absolute contraindication to vaccination, and children should wait until their diarrhea is completely improved or cured before vaccination. Even if the child has mild diarrhea and no other uncomfortable symptoms, immediate vaccination is not recommended for other vaccines. If your baby has diarrhea, if the symptoms are mild, no treatment is needed and dietary regulation is sufficient. If your baby’s condition is more serious, you should take medication in time and wait until the disease is completely back to normal before vaccination.
