Etiology
This disease is related to mental factors and dietary factors. Symptoms
Sudden onset of abdominal pain, bowel sounds, diarrhea, pain decreases after diarrhea, large amount of mucus in stool, or alternating constipation and diarrhea.

X-ray imaging shows spasmodic thinning of the colon, increased passage of barium, deepening of the colonic pouch.

Differential diagnosis
Mainly need to differentiate with the following diseases:
1. Malabsorption syndrome
Diarrhea is often present in this syndrome, but fat and undigested food can be seen in the stool routine.
2. Chronic colitis
Abdominal pain and diarrhea are also common, but mucous blood stools are predominant. Colonoscopy shows that the mucosa of the colon is congested, edematous, eroded or ulcerated.
3. Chronic dysentery
Diarrhea is dominated by pus and blood stool, fecal routine can see a large number of pus and blood cells, or see dysentery bacillus, stool culture can see dysentery bacillus growth.
4. Cronh’s disease
Anemia, fever, weakness and other systemic symptoms. Enteroscopy shows “linear ulcers” or “paving-stone-like” changes in the intestinal mucosa.
5. Intestinal tuberculosis
There are abdominal pain, diarrhea, pus and blood in feces, and systemic toxic symptoms, such as emaciation, low-grade fever, etc., or other tuberculosis foci.
6. Intestinal tumor
There may be diarrhea, but mainly old bloody stools, enteroscopy and X-ray barium enema and rectal palpation may have positive signs.
7. Other diseases
Such as peptic ulcer, hepatobiliary system diseases.
Treatment
The treatment of colonic allergy can not rely solely on a specific Chinese and Western medicines to achieve the purpose of cure, the key lies in solving the ideological contradictions.
