Pain when the nipple of the breast is touched is related to factors such as nipple infection, breast hyperplasia, and malignant tumors of the breast. When local pain occurs, it can be observed closely first because inflammation of the nipple area, or trauma can cause local pain. When the nipple area is cracked, inflammation or wearing rough underwear, rubbing the nipple will cause the nipple area to break down, causing local redness, swelling and oozing, which will cause pain when touched by hand. After excluding trauma, it can be considered to be caused by mammary hyperplasia. Although most patients with mammary hyperplasia do not have local pain symptoms, some women will have local pain due to increased hormone levels before menstruation, which will cause local pain when stimulated to the nipple, and the pain symptoms will be alleviated when hormone levels retreat after menstruation. Patients with malignant tumors of the breast do not have obvious symptoms in the early stage, but as the disease further aggravates or the tumor increases and presses on the nerve, it will cause pain in the nipple area and will be accompanied by the performance of bloody overflow.
