Is it important to have hives with fever?

Urticaria with fever needs to be taken seriously, usually urticaria does not present with fever. If a fever occurs, it may be due to a combination of infections or other illnesses, for example.
For example, respiratory infections, tonsillitis or other systemic infections occur before or during urticaria. In addition to fever, there are other corresponding symptoms, such as fatigue, joint pain, etc., and blood tests show a marked elevation of white blood cells.
If a patient with chronic urticaria is accompanied by fever, it often suggests that the urticaria may be caused by diseases of the internal organs, especially autoimmune diseases such as lupus erythematosus, urticarial vasculitis, etc., which may be manifested as urticaria with fever.
Patients with fever below 38.5°C during urticaria can be treated with physiotherapy. Drink plenty of fluids as well as warm water to rub the body, or use antipyretic patches. If the temperature exceeds 38.5℃ or the fever lasts too long, it is recommended to seek medical attention.
