  Headaches in children usually occur in older children, mostly in preschoolers, and there are many causes of headaches in children, mostly due to organic diseases.  The most common cause of headache in children is fever, which causes the dilation of blood vessels in the skull, resulting in headache, which is usually relieved soon after the child takes antipyretic drugs. In addition, some extra-cranial diseases, such as sinusitis, otitis media, oral diseases, scalp inflammation, trigeminal neuralgia, neck muscle injury, etc., may cause headaches, so when children have these disorders, they must be actively diagnosed and treated. In addition, there are more and more electronic products nowadays, and some children are exposed to electronic products too early and their eyesight is affected, so they may also have headaches, so it is important to check the eyesight of children with headaches. If the headache is accompanied by neurological symptoms such as nausea and vomiting, we should also pay attention to meningitis or whether there are occupying lesions in the brain, cerebrovascular disease or intracranial hemorrhage and other related problems. There are some children who also have headaches because they are nervous about their studies, under stress, and are not able to get enough sleep.  In short, there are many causes of pediatric headaches. When a child complains of a headache, we should carefully observe what discomfort is combined with the headache, and at the same time carefully conduct a physical examination of the child so as to find out the cause of the headache and carry out etiological treatment.
