Gout prevention and treatment starts with diet control

  As the saying goes, “disease enters through the mouth”. Most diseases are caused by eating, and gout is a disease caused by eating disorders or overeating as the main cause. The main pathological mechanism is a metabolic chronic joint disease due to the disorder of purine metabolism in the body. Therefore, in our daily diet, we can receive good prevention and control of the disease by adopting dietary control and regulation, maintaining a certain calorie intake, and eating less high purine food.  Introduce low purine or purine-free foods: such as semolina, rice, soda crackers, steamed buns, bread, milk and milk products, eggs, all kinds of fats and oils, fruits, dried fruits, sugar and candies. In addition to a few vegetables such as cauliflower and spinach, most vegetables, such as carrots, celery, cabbage, cucumbers, eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini and potatoes, contain less purines.  Control obesity from breakfast, breakfast staple 50 grams, a small bowl of thin rice porridge (but 40 grams), an egg, 50 grams of vegetables. Do not eat snacks in addition to the staple food, so as to avoid calorie intake and obesity.  Pay attention to the daily intake of protein, limit to 0.8-1 grams per kg of body weight per day is appropriate, consumption of vegetable protein is better.  Pay attention to the daily consumption of sugar and fat must be controlled, and do not consume fried food.  Limit foods high in purines: such as animal liver, kidney, pancreas. Sardines, anchovies, mackerel, gravies, broths, small shrimps, seafood, lentils, dried beans. Refusing the intake of these types of diets is a crucial first step in the fight against gout.
