Hydrocephalus requires more attention to psychological treatment

Hydrocephalus, while relying on effective drug treatment, should take appropriate psychological care, which can play a significant role in promoting the recovery of patients, especially physical and mental care, because patients in the process of illness, due to the torture of disease, environmental and lifestyle changes, often make them produce negative emotions such as depression, anxiety, tension, doubt, despair, etc., which directly affect the psychological state and contribute to the aggravation of the disease, and the advanced instruments and more advanced drugs can do nothing about it. Therefore, we cannot neglect the motivational factors and give up spiritual care by one-sidedly thinking of improving the efficiency of medical care and reducing the labor burden. Therefore, we must master the operational skills of new technologies on the one hand, and acquire good knowledge of psychology and social medicine on the other hand, and apply them rationally in clinical care work. To a certain extent, technical equipment can only play an auxiliary diagnostic and therapeutic role for diseases, while most of the work concerning patient rehabilitation depends on the emotional commitment and careful care of our nursing staff.
