Traditional removable partial dentures (commonly known as removable dentures) have an aesthetic impact due to the exposed metal retainers. For abutment teeth with periodontal disease, the rings can cause the abutment teeth to loosen due to excessive force. Attachment removable partial dentures are retained by means of attachments. According to the different retention methods, they can be divided into two categories: magnetic attachments and mechanical attachments. The advantages are: 1, no metal exposure, aesthetic. 2.Change the force condition of abutment teeth, reduce the burden of abutment teeth, and facilitate the health of abutment teeth. 3.Provide sufficient retention and support force, good restoration of masticatory function. 4.Make full use of the residual root and crown in the patient’s mouth to provide retention and support.
