The tincture of bone marrow is a common drug for the treatment of vitiligo, if used properly can play a very good therapeutic role, on the contrary, there may be side effects, and even make the condition worse. The following is a bit of my experience for your reference.
The actual fact is that you will be able to get a lot more than just a few of the most popular and also the most popular ones. If the entire white spot is smeared, it will seep into the surrounding normal skin, causing two consequences: the skin around the white spot becomes darker, making the white spot appear clearer; and the white spot expands in scope (isomorphic reaction). If the white spots are small, use a toothpick (cut off its tip with scissors) to apply the medicine and wipe it on the center of the white spots.
3. Adjunctive light: The tincture of tincture of bone marrow alone is not effective if it is not combined with light (sunlight or NB-UVB), so “tincture of bone marrow + light” is a whole.
(1) Tincture of bone marrow + sunlight: In general, white spots (pure white) are firstly coated with tincture of bone marrow, and then after 3-5 minutes, they are illuminated with sunlight, usually once a day. The length of time of sunlight depends on the strength of the sun, if the sun is very strong, then first 5-10 seconds, if the white spot does not redden, then gradually extend the time of sunlight until the white spot reddens; if the sun is weak, then you can start from 2-3 minutes, gradually extend the time of sunlight until the white spot reddens. Then stop sunlight exposure and apply topical hormone ointment twice a day until the redness subsides and the white spots return to their original white color, then start topical tincture of bone marrow + sunlight exposure again, and so on and so forth.
Note: Remember to stay in the sun for a long time after applying tincture of bone marrow, it will probably cause blisters !!!!! (In case of blistering, see another article for detailed treatment) ⑵ Tincture of osteoporosis + NB-UVB: Generally, white spots (pure white) are first coated with tincture of osteoporosis, and after 3-5 minutes, irradiated with NB-UVB, once every other day. The irradiation time starts from 5 seconds, if the white spot is not red, the second day is not irradiated; the third day is irradiated, the irradiation time is extended to 10 seconds; if it is not red, the fourth day is not irradiated, the fifth day is irradiated, the time is extended to 15 seconds, and so on, until the white spot is red, then stop NB-UVB irradiation, local topical hormone ointment, two times a day, until the red spot fades, the white spot returns to its original white, then start topical ointment. Then start topical tincture of bone marrow + NB-UVB irradiation again, and so on repeatedly.
If some patients are sensitive to tincture of osteoporosis and blister under very weak light or NB-UVB irradiation for 5 seconds after wiping tincture of osteoporosis, in this case, we should dilute tincture of osteoporosis with alcohol or white wine (degree is not limited) and then use it again. etc. If you do not blister, you do not need to dilute.
4. Judgment of efficacy: Generally speaking, the center of the white spot will be pigmented after 1-2 months of treatment with medicine. The effect is faster on the trunk, but slower and less effective on the scalp, hands and feet and other end parts. Some patients show a lighter overall color (not as white as before treatment) or a reduction in the extent of the white spots.
