How can people with hepatitis B virus take care of themselves?

Hepatitis B virus carriers are those who have positive serological indicators of hepatitis B (i.e. “major triplet” or “minor triplet”), but no symptoms and signs of hepatitis, normal liver function tests, and no change after six months of observation. Due to the large number of hepatitis B virus carriers in society, chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis are also common, coupled with the lack of health knowledge, social misunderstandings and exaggerated propaganda advertisements, many carriers and their relatives are under great mental stress, which even affects work, study and life, and increases unnecessary economic waste. Therefore, it is necessary for hepatitis B virus carriers to understand the relevant knowledge, treat it correctly, pay attention to health care and prevent morbidity. Hepatitis B virus carriers are not current patients, so they are not treated as current patients. However, there is a possibility of morbidity.       Many external factors can trigger liver disease, so attention should be paid to the following points: 1, lift the burden of thought, maintain a good state of mind. Avoid overexertion in daily life, do not drink alcohol, do not come into contact with toxic substances, and take less medication, especially those that are damaging to the liver. 2, because the hepatitis B virus is mainly transmitted through blood, general contact will not cause transmission, so hepatitis B virus carriers can engage in normal work, study and social activities, in addition to not donating blood. It does not affect further education, employment, marriage, going abroad and so on. However, care should be taken to prevent the transmission of blood or secretions from oneself to others. Family members in close contact can be vaccinated against hepatitis B. 3.Since carriers have the possibility of developing disease, they should be examined once every six months to a year. The examination should include physical examination, liver function, serum HBV infection indication and liver B-type ultrasound examination, so as to detect the change of disease and take corresponding treatment measures in time. 4.There is no special treatment for hepatitis B virus carriers, nor is there any drug to prevent the onset of the disease. Humans have not yet developed a drug that can completely remove the hepatitis B virus, only a few drugs that can inhibit the virus can be used to treat chronic hepatitis with abnormal liver function, while the efficacy of patients with normal liver function is very poor. Therefore, experts at home and abroad believe that hepatitis B carriers do not need treatment. However, they should be regularly reviewed and monitored for hepatitis B virus and liver function, and should not use drugs blindly. Each drug has certain indications. Even for hepatitis patients with abnormal liver function, there are many tests that should be done before using the medication, and according to the test results, you should consider which treatment is suitable.       Do not believe in false advertising. The “negative medicine” is taken blindly. The advertisements not only do not cure the disease, there may be serious adverse reactions, and even break the body’s original state of peaceful coexistence with the hepatitis B virus, turning into hepatitis.
