At the same time, HLA-B27 also has a 10% positive rate in the normal population, and can also be seen in psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis and other diseases.
However, the diagnosis of spondyloarthropathies cannot be made on the basis of HLA-B27 positivity, but rather on the basis of the patient’s symptoms and signs as well as the results of imaging tests. If the patient is HLA-B27 positive, it is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible.
