Talking about menstrual cramps

  Dysmenorrhea is a gynecological disease that occurs before or during menstruation or after menstruation when periodic lower abdominal pain or pain in the lumbosacral area occurs, which affects work and daily life. The former often begins with the first menstruation or soon after, also known as primary dysmenorrhea, the latter can be caused by endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids or intrauterine device, also known as secondary dysmenorrhea.  Daily regimen for dysmenorrhea: (1) Avoid excessive mental tension.  (2) Avoid strenuous movement or heavy physical labor during menstruation.  (3) Abstain from sexual intercourse during menstruation.  (4) Avoid cold stimulation during menstruation.  (5) Avoid x-ray examination.  (6) Pay attention to nutritional intake, supplement a certain amount of protein, vitamins and iron, calcium, etc.. Eat more protein-rich foods such as lean meat, fish, soy products and fruits and vegetables.  (7) Do not drink strong tea during menstruation.  (8) Avoid overexertion during menstrual pain.
