Skullcap fracture is a type of skull fracture, usually with a history of head trauma, and the diagnosis of the disease is based on its clinical manifestations and relevant ancillary examinations. The clinical manifestations usually have a history of head trauma, painful skin or skin laceration at the fracture site, and also need to be based on imaging examinations. The most commonly used ancillary test is the CT scan of the head. If CT imaging of the head can be performed in three dimensions, the fracture lesion can be clearly visualized, for example, CT may indicate bone loss, disruption of continuity or displacement of the fracture. The combination of clinical manifestations and CT scan will confirm the diagnosis, which is the basis for the diagnosis of skullcap fracture.
