Memantine refers to minocycline hydrochloride, an antibiotic used to treat infections caused by staphylococcus, pneumococcus, streptococcus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Escherichia coli, including urinary tract infections, skin infections, and respiratory tract infections. The most common side effects of this drug include dizziness, which can cause dizziness and lightheadedness when acting on the nervous system. If the patient cannot tolerate it, he/she needs to stop taking memantine, and if the dizziness and lightheadedness are mild, the patient can tolerate it or continue to take it, and he/she needs to consult the physician who uses the drug for details. If a patient’s infection must be controlled with memantine and switching to another drug is not effective, adherence should be considered. If other alternative medications are available, it is also possible to switch to other alternative medications in order to avoid drug side effects.
