The contraindications for the use of Xiao Cheng Qi Tang are still unclear, and the contraindications for the use of Da Cheng Qi Tang are prohibited for pregnant women.
1. Xiao Cheng Qi Tang: main treatment of typhoid fever (feel the cold caused by fever disease) Yangming Viscera solid evidence, symptoms of delirium (gibberish), hard stools, hot flashes, yellow tongue, etc..
2. Dachengqi Tang: treating Yangming visceral solid syndrome, symptoms such as inability to pass stools, frequent turning of vectors (farting), epigastric (stomach and abdomen) fullness, abdominal pain and refusal to be pressed, etc.; as well as heat junction bypassing the flow of evidence, symptoms such as diarrhea (stools thin and mixed with undigested food), the color of the pure green, the smell of foul air, umbilical and abdominal pain, hard and lumps by pressing the tongue and dryness of the tongue and mouth, etc..
Note that Dachengqi Tang is contraindicated in pregnant women; use of Dachengqi Tang needs to be stopped in the middle of an illness (for drugs with strong medicinal properties, they should be stopped after the disease is largely cured to avoid damage to the body) to avoid depletion of vital energy.
