What is the normal value of H. pylori

H. pylori values of carbon 14 urea breath test between 0 and 100 dpm are normal (may vary from one testing facility to another). H. pylori is a common predisposing factor for gastric diseases. For patients with long-term gastric diseases, a carbon 14 urea breath test can be performed to confirm the diagnosis. The breath test is able to find out whether the stomach is infected by H. pylori, and the pH value needs to be observed after the test result. When the pH value is between 0-100 dpm, it indicates that the environment inside the stomach is relatively healthy and that the stomach is not affected by H. pylori invasion. Carbon 14 urea breath test exceeds the normal value, indicating that there is H. pylori infection in the stomach, and those who have indications for H. pylori eradication should be treated promptly with quadruple therapy according to the patient’s symptoms and gastroscopy results.
