World Hemophilia Day is celebrated on April 17 every year. To commemorate the contribution of Mr. Frank Schnabel, the founder of the World Federation of Hemophilia, to hemophilia and to raise public awareness of hemophilia, World Hemophilia Day has been celebrated on his birthday, April 17, since 1989.
