Hyaluronic acid is also known as hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is present in all living organisms and is a component commonly found in human tissues. hyaluronic acid was first isolated and extracted from the vitreous humor of a bull’s eye in 1934. In the past 20 years, hyaluronic acid has been widely used in cosmetic and therapeutic applications. Hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturizing factor present in human skin tissues. When young, the skin is richer in hyaluronic acid, so the skin is soft and elastic. As we age, hyaluronic acid gradually decreases, resulting in aging of the skin, loss of elasticity and luster, and consequently, wrinkles. Restylane can be used for wrinkle smoothing, skin rejuvenation, lip augmentation, and facial filling and contouring. In Restylane hyaluronic acid fillers, the injection sites and levels vary depending on the indication. Treatment results can last anywhere from 9 months or longer. Restylane has been successfully used in more than 70 countries and regions to treat 10 million cases safely. Q-Med AB’s global adverse event reporting system ensures effective monitoring of all adverse events arising from the use of Restylane. To date, monitoring results have shown a very low incidence of adverse events (especially inflammatory reactions). Forehead lines (head lift), crow’s feet, frown lines, nasolabial folds, fine lines around the mouth, lip augmentation, filling of depressed scars and rhinoplasty, facial contouring. Correction of superficial lines, wrinkles and folds: Usually a re-injection is required after 6-12 months of injection. Lip augmentation: Re-injection is usually required after 6 months of injection. Overall, the timing of re-injections is influenced by a variety of factors, such as skin structure, lifestyle, age, the degree of perfection required by the patient and injection technique, and the amount of injected dose. Clinical experience confirms that re-injections can effectively prolong the duration of the treatment effect. Swelling after lip injections with Restylane series usually subsides within a week after the injection. Patients with skin conditions, a history of skin allergies, or skin that is prone to bruising or bleeding should be considered carefully before undergoing treatment with the Restylane series. Doctors should inform patients about contraindications and other related issues prior to treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not undergo Restylane treatment. After the treatment, please keep your face relaxed and do not make excessive facial movements; avoid contact with high heat (e.g. sauna, high heat bath), do not touch or massage the injection site; normal makeup can be applied the day after the injection.
