Levofloxacin Hydrochloride Tablets are mainly used for all kinds of infections caused by sensitive strains of bacteria, the use of which is mainly oral, and the dosage is different in the treatment of different diseases and different age patients. Patients should take the medicine according to their own conditions and under the guidance of the doctor.
1. Treatment of adult patients with normal renal function: hospital pneumonia 750mg per day for 7-14 days; acute bacterial sinusitis 750mg per day for 5 days; acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, 500mg per day for 7 days; chronic bacterial prostatitis 500mg per day for 28 days.
2. Treatment of adult patients with renal insufficiency: 750mg every 24 hours in patients with normal renal function; 750mg every 48 hours when creatinine clearance is 20-49mL/min; 750mg for the first time when creatinine clearance is 10-19mL/min, and 500mg every 48 hours thereafter; 750mg for the first time when hemodialysis or continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis is performed. For hemodialysis or continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, administer 750 mg for the first dose and 500 mg every 48 hours thereafter.
3. For pediatric patients: >50 kg and ≥6 months, 500 mg every 24 hours for 60 days; <50 kg and ≥6 months, 8 mg/kg every 12 hours for 60 days.
