PPH, also known as suprahemorrhoidal mucosal circumferential hemorrhoidectomy, is a surgical procedure based on the theory of the anal cushion and the use of anastomosis to treat circumferential internal hemorrhoids according to the pathogenesis and formation mechanism of hemorrhoids. The principle is to preserve the anal cushion, remove part of the internal hemorrhoid and the supra-hemorrhoidal mucosa and submucosa in a circular fashion, and perform an instant anastomosis at the same time as the removal. The procedure is divided into four steps: first, a circular anal canal dilator is placed inside the anus to reset the prolapsed hemorrhoid or prolapsed anal canal mucosa; second, a suture is sewn to the prolapsed mucosa; third, the anastomosis is unscrewed and the mushroom head is inserted deep into the upper end of the suture line, and then the suture is knotted; fourth, the suture is pulled so that the prolapsed mucosa layer is placed in the cavity of the anastomosis, and the anastomosis is closed to complete the prolapsed mucosa The anastomosis is closed and the prolapsed mucosa is removed.
