There is no such thing as disease transmission through gastroscopy. Gastroscopy requires strict cleaning after each procedure, and this process requires several rounds of cleaning. The initial wash, enzyme wash, final wash, and disinfection procedures are required in between each wash, and bacteria, viruses, and fungi are not likely to survive. Before doing gastroscopy, every patient needs to do basic infectious disease examination, generally speaking, the four items of infection, such as AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, etc. will have relevant test results. Bacteria, fungi or viruses, after leaving the body or body fluids blood, exposed to the air is not likely to survive for a long time. The stomach itself is a highly acidic environment, few viruses and fungi can survive, and germs suitable for survival in the stomach will not survive when exposed to oxygen. Therefore, it is safe to do gastroscopy and not to transmit some diseases by doing the examination.
