What conditions require treatment for uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids of 5cm or more with other accompanying symptoms (such as menstrual changes, abdominal pain, back pain, constipation, frequent urination and other pressure symptoms), those with recent fertility requirements, and those with excessive psychological burden that seriously affects the patient’s daily life can be considered for treatment. Those who have fertility requirements and have fibroids with a diameter of 3cm or more can be considered for treatment before pregnancy; those who have submucosal fibroids with fertility requirements should be actively treated, regardless of whether the diameter reaches 3cm or not.
