Strictly speaking, there is no clinical proof of the probability of hepatitis B transforming into liver cancer, but ninety percent of liver cancer patients in China have a history of hepatitis B. First of all, there is no clear clinical evidence to prove the cause of liver cancer, but there may be a causal relationship between hepatitis and liver cancer, this is due to the fact that patients with liver cancer often have a history of progression from acute hepatitis to chronic hepatitis, followed by a gradual transformation to cirrhosis, and then malignant transformation of liver cancer. In recent years, studies have shown that hepatitis viruses are related to liver cancer, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C and hepatitis D. In China, about 90% of liver cancer patients have hepatitis B history. Liver cancer patients in other countries also have different rates of hepatitis B positivity, which suggests the intricacy of its relationship with liver cancer.
