Is it dangerous to have no echo next to the gestational sac?

If the patient is pregnant and then has an ultrasound that shows an echogenic area next to the gestational sac, whether or not this condition is dangerous also depends on the patient’s condition. When the above ultrasound hints appear in the clinic, the following possibilities should be considered: first, the patient is pregnant in the uterus and has the possibility of pre-eclampsia miscarriage. In this case, there is usually no major danger and the patient can keep the pregnancy according to the situation. If there is a lot of bleeding and it develops into an unavoidable miscarriage, it is necessary to do a clearance operation if necessary. Secondly, the possibility of ectopic pregnancy should be considered. Very often the patient has a small gestational sac in the uterine cavity, less than 1.0 cm, surrounded by an echogenic zone, which is actually an ectopic pregnancy and the uterus is just a false gestational sac. If a clear diagnosis is not made in time, there is a risk of rupture of the ectopic pregnancy, which may endanger the patient’s life in serious cases, so this situation is more dangerous. Thirdly, the possibility of having a staph should be considered. In individual cases, the patient’s gravida is not very typical. When the examination is done at the early stage of pregnancy, it can show a gestational sac-like echogenicity with an echogenic zone around it, and dynamic observation is needed to confirm the diagnosis. If staph is confirmed, it can be cured after active treatment and is not very dangerous.
