Dysautonomia is a condition in which patients with Parkinson’s disease who are taking levodopa, or dopamine agonists, experience uncontrolled choreiform movements throughout the body due to a gradual decrease in the efficacy of the drug or an inappropriate dose of the drug. There is no good way to treat these symptoms. For patients with severe symptoms, surgical treatment can be used to control the symptoms, and the main surgical treatment is deep brain electrical stimulation. In addition, patients should strictly control the dose of levodopa and dopamine agonist drugs, and adjust the dose of drugs according to the patient’s specific situation at any time.
