Can I apply salt to mouth ulcers?

The application of salt wipes is not recommended for mouth ulcers; simply put, current research has not found a therapeutic effect of salt on mouth ulcers. Mouth ulcers are one of the more common diseases of the mouth, and many patients experience mouth ulcers, either mild or severe, most of which are self-limiting and recurrent. By self-limiting, it means that mouth ulcers will gradually get better even without any treatment for about a week to 2 weeks or so. The so-called recurrence refers to the fact that mouth ulcers are difficult to cure, often disappearing for a period of time and then recurring again after a period of time, making it difficult to completely eradicate mouth ulcers at once. For mouth ulcers, there is no 1 way to make recurrent mouth ulcers completely cured, in general most of them are symptomatic treatment. And salt as our common 1 flavoring agent, it is not found to have a definite therapeutic effect on mouth ulcers, and the external use of salt may make the pain of mouth ulcers significantly worse, and there is no need for this.
