How to treat stage II cervical cancer

According to TNM staging, stage II cervical cancer refers to stage II cervical cancer in clinic, and patients need to be treated according to pathological staging, and the treatment used is mainly surgical treatment and radiotherapy. Stage II cervical cancer can be divided into cervical cancer IIA1, IIA2 and IIB. According to the Clinical Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cervical Cancer, when the tumor diameter of stage IIA1 cervical cancer is 2~4cm, it is recommended to perform transabdominal cervical resection, and if there is no metastasis, it is also necessary to add pelvic lymph node dissection or abdominal para-aortic lymph node dissection, but if there is metastasis, it is necessary to consider giving up the surgery and adopting radical radiotherapy. For stage IIA2 cervical cancer, extra-pelvic irradiation, simultaneous chemotherapy containing cisplatin regimen and brachytherapy are generally preferred; and platinum-based radiotherapy is generally used for stage IIB cervical cancer. The damage caused by cervical cancer to women should not be underestimated, and the later the stage is, the more difficult the treatment is, and the worse the prognosis is. It is recommended that women should do a good job of screening and consult a doctor in time if there are any abnormalities in their body.
