Normal blood pressure is 90-139mmHg systolic and 60-89mmHg diastolic. 150mmHg is likely to be hypertension. Hypertension can be diagnosed by measuring three times on the same day with systolic blood pressure ≥140mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥90mmHg. Measurement of blood pressure should be done under resting state and regular follow-up is needed to observe the overall situation of blood pressure changes, which cannot be diagnosed by a single measurement of blood pressure of 150mmHg alone. Hypertension can be diagnosed if the blood pressure is still higher than 140mmHg even after a period of lifestyle interventions such as dietary control and reduction of sodium intake, and multiple measurements taken on non-same days. If you are diagnosed with hypertension, please go to the hospital and take the medication as prescribed by your doctor, and do not change the dosage without authorization.
