A proper view of depression

Depression is not a scary, not a flooding beast. It needs to be viewed in the right light.
Depression is an illness, just like when you get a cold. A cold can have many symptoms, such as a headache, runny nose, etc. Depression is the same, there will be lethargy, pessimism, and a lack of happiness. There are cold medications for colds, and there are antidepressants for depression. A cold can come back and so can depression. It is very important to see a doctor promptly after a relapse.
After a cold, you can prevent it by exercising and strengthening your body. You can also prevent a relapse by improving your psychological quality and changing your coping pattern after the symptoms of depression have disappeared.
So it is very important to look at depression correctly, not only for the patient, but also for the family.
