What’s wrong with waking up dizzy and spinning around for a while and then being normal?

Getting up with dizziness and spinning around for a while and then becoming normal may be caused by insufficient blood supply to the brain, abnormal blood pressure, otolithiasis and other factors.
1. Posterior circulation ischemia: It is generally a symptom of ischemia of the brainstem or cerebellum caused by stenosis or occlusion of the basilar artery or vertebral artery. The patients will have dizziness and heavenly rotation after waking up, especially those with poor sleep quality, and have dizziness and headache after waking up.
2. Abnormal blood pressure: patients with low or high blood pressure, when there is a sudden change in body position, resulting in increased or insufficient cerebral blood perfusion, it is easy to have postural blood pressure changes, resulting in dizziness after getting up.
3. Otolithiasis: Patients may experience sudden dizziness, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms when their body position changes, and the symptoms usually last for a few seconds and then get relieved.
When the above factors exist, the patient should consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause and do the appropriate treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
