Yellow urine is one of the symptoms of Damp-Heat in the Lower Jiao, but it is not possible to conclude that it is Damp-Heat in the Lower Jiao because of yellow urine. Lower Jiao Damp-Heat is a condition that occurs when Damp-Heat invades the lower Jiao large intestine or bladder. Its occurrence is mostly related to external dampness and heat, dietary disorders and other factors. Clinically, it is mainly characterized by inability to pass stools and urine, and can be regulated by Bazheng San, Citrus Aurantium Conducting Stagnation Soup, Xuanqing Conducting Turbidity Soup, and so on. Yellow urine can be seen not only in lower Jiao Damp-Heat, but also due to low water intake, hot weather, heart fire, liver fire and other conditions.
