Erythromycin cyclamate dry suspension dosage for children

  Children should choose the dose to be taken according to their body weight, based on 15mg/kg, administered every 12 hours, twice a day. Adults should take 0.25g-0.5g twice a day for 5-10 days.  Dosage: Pour the product into a cup, add an appropriate amount of cool boiled water, dissolve and shake well and then take orally. Take on an empty stomach, before or 3 hours after meals.  Erythromycin is a new generation of macrolide antibiotics, mainly acting on Gram-positive bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, Chlamydia and Mycoplasma. Its in vitro antibacterial effect is similar to that of erythromycin, but it has no antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria. Erythromycin is used for the treatment of pneumonia, whooping cough in children, skin tissue infections, eczema, gonorrhea, enteritis caused by Campylobacter spp. and gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylori.  It should be noted that: adverse reactions to cyclic erythromycin dry mix can be seen as gastrointestinal reactions: nausea, vomiting, food aversion, abdominal pain, rash, increased eosinophils, reversible hearing impairment, pseudomembranous colitis, hepatic impairment may occur in very few patients.  Patients who are allergic to macrolide antibiotics should not take cyclic erythromycin.
