The acupoints of the Foot Taiyin-Spleen meridian include the Yinbai acupoint, the Duodu acupoint, the Shangqiu acupoint, the Diqi acupoint, the Taibai acupoint, the Gongsun acupoint, as well as other acupoints such as the Sanyinjiao acupoint.
1. Yinbai Acupuncture Point: Yinbai Acupuncture Point belongs to the Spleen Meridian of the Foot Taiyin and is located on the inner side of the thumb, about 0.1 inch beside the toenail. It is used for treating abdominal distension, diarrhea, blood in stools, menorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), and convulsions (pediatric illnesses mainly manifested by dizziness, apoplexy, and convulsions).
2. Dudu Acupuncture Point: Dudu Acupuncture Point belongs to the Spleen Meridian of the Foot Taiyin and is located on the inner side of the toes of the baby’s body, at the lower edge of the anterior border of the first metatarsophalangeal joints, in the place of the red-white inter-membranous area (where the palm of the hand meets the back of the hand, and the heart of the foot meets the back of the foot). The main treatment of stomach pain, abdominal distension, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, fever, etc..
3. Shangqiu Point: Shangqiu belongs to the Spleen Meridian of the Foot Taiyin and is located in the ankle area, below the anterior part of the ankle, in the depression at the midpoint of the line connecting the rough ridge of the navicular bone and the tip of the inner ankle. Mainly treats abdominal distension and diarrhea, constipation, ankle pain.
4. Diji Point: Diji Point belongs to the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian and is located on the inner side of the lower leg, 3 inches below the lower edge of the inner ankle of the tibia bone, at the posterior edge of the tibia bone. It is used for treating abdominal pain, bloating, edema, dysuria, dysmenorrhea and seminal emission.
5. Other acupoints: Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian also has Tai Bai, Gong Sun, Sanyin Jiao, Leaky Gully, Yin Ling Quan, Sea of Blood, Kei Men, Chong Men, Fu She, Abdominal Junction, Da Heng, Abdominal Woe, Eating Sinus, Tian Xi, Thoracic Township, Zhou Rong, and Da Bao points.
