Tianwang Tonifying Heart Pill does not treat deficiency of liver depression and yin, and treats deficiency of heart yin leading to insomnia and other conditions, while deficiency of liver depression and yin is usually treated with Consistent Decoction.
1. Tianwang Xinxin Pill is mainly composed of Poria, Radix Poriae, Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Fructus Schisandraeae, Platycodonis, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, and its effects are to nourish yin and nourish blood, nourish the heart and tranquilize the spirit, and can be used for insomnia and excessive sleepiness due to insufficiency of yin of the heart, palpitation (accelerated heart beat, often accompanied by panic) and amnesia, etc. The adverse effects and contraindications are not known. Adverse reactions and contraindications are not clear.
2. Patients with liver depression and yin deficiency usually show symptoms such as chest and epigastric dystocia (pain in the area of the ribs and chest), acid swallowing (swallowing the acid in the stomach that rushes up to the oropharynx), bitterness, dry throat and mouth, and a red tongue with little fluids, etc. It is usually used in the treatment of Consistent Decoction.
